1. Acceptance of Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using App Ranger ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, CB Software grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Software. Each license key is valid for use on a single device owned or controlled by you.

3. Trial and Activation

• Trial Period: The Software may be used for a 14-day trial period without a license key.
• License Key: After the trial period, a valid license key is required to continue using the monitoring and enforcement features.
• Restrictions: You may not share, sell, or distribute your license key to third parties.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the Software.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Software.
• Use the Software for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains that the Software operates locally and does not transmit personal data to external servers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability and Exclusion of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CB SOFTWARE, THE AUTHORS, OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, OR FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

IN ANY CASE, THE ENTIRE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF CB SOFTWARE, THE AUTHORS, AND COPYRIGHT HOLDERS UNDER ANY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of the terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Software.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CB Software is established, excluding its conflicts of law rules.

10. Assignment

CB Software may assign this Agreement, in whole or in part, to another entity at any time with or without notice to you. You may not assign this Agreement or transfer any rights to use the Software without the prior written consent of CB Software.
